Yes, this episode, but we are now talking about the automatic reloading of a nerf gun after the Roomba has collected the spent darts.

Perhaps think 'robot sentry guns from the movie Aliens' here. Complete with remote readout of ammo counters transmitted to your mobile device of course.

Automated Roomba reloading of spent darts would be awesome, however in reality I suspect not so easy to do reliably, especially in a tidy package.

Perhaps add in an on-board camera that captures all the action when the sensors are activated.

Might be a use for the Panasonic Grid-Eye IR sensor.

So a Nerf turret that utilizes the Roomba dart collector for reloading?

I can't show a picture but I can give you a mental image. So it would be mounted against a wall. and it would have a camera that would determine how far you are and where your angle is, So you would have a load mechanism on the nerf gun and it would shoot at point 0 which is the centre of the camera. Maybe have it thermal? but it would be like a revolving dart gun which would load when it shoots so it would be loaded for ever until you run out of darts. and you can use the roomba and make a home system which would launch your darts from the collector and send it to the gun's loading system. If you need more info just message

Someone had a similar idea here; http://www.element14.com/community/message/167718/l/simulator-bomb#167718.

Do you have any design details you might add?

You should make a Robotic nerf gun that mounts on the wall and has a sensor and shoots if someone is there?
