Hello, Is there a good website / online course to get started with learing electronics?

This is a very good resource for theory, and Free. If you have 100 dollars go out and buy The Art of Electronics third edition it will teach the more practical side of things.

Hi Robert,
I have The Art of Electronics and it is an excellent book but from my perspective it is not a beginners book. A better beginners book is "Practical Electronics for Inventors" 3rd Edition by Paul Scherz and Simon Monk. While I recommend the" Practical Electronics for Inventors" I usually qualify my recommendation as it has more Errata than would be desirable. There is fortunately a large volume of work by electronic enthusiasts that have compiled the Errata and published it for anyone who is interested.
