Is a camera for iPad (Moddable Possible/No)?

Hi, Just wondering if you are able to mod a camera to be detected on an iPad (Jailbroken) and make it stylishly fit into a Case...

Of course, yes.

Can you provide the communication interface of iPad? then you can write or down a driver and application software to drive and dispay.

i googled the connection and found this out

But from this list of the connections i dont see how data(camera feed) can be sent in to the device (might be pins 25-27), rather than all of the pins are related to Outputs.
About writing a driver, i am unable to do so which is why i have raised the quesetion, if ben heck can make it possible

Hi,
yes they do sell the camera connection kit though i think if you plug in a webcam there is not enough power supplied to power the webcam.
thus a special cable designed to be able to interface with the ipad and a software which allows the image seen to be viewed on the ipad is needed,
which brings me back to my first question is it possible, especially by ben heck.

I dont actually understand french, but i can decipher that it is some app which uses ur iphone as a camera, but my whole theory/idea is something which can be just plugged in to the ipad and wa'la ... but what i do understand is the complexity of this idea as there are a few parts involved like for eg. the hardware(camera module) and the software (for the imaging sensor inside the camera to translate what it sees in digital form) [driver]
