Help with xbox360 portable audio problem

I watched all the episodes where Ben builds an xbox portable. When he is working on the Atari one he shows how he wires up the audio so I followed that as a guide.

 

This is what I did:

For some reason the analog audio output isn't workingon mine while the hdmi cable is connected and I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

 

Any suggestions or help would be really appreciate. Thanks.

    it looks like you soldered the black wire on the wrong pin.

    in ben's theres 3 pins then the first wire (red in your case)

    then 4 empty pins

    then 1 unsoldered pin, then what looks like two connected to the same wire (in your case the unshielded one)

    then after that you should solder the black wire to the last pin on that row.

     

    try this and post back if it works or not.
