Question

I'm trying to make a car/boat thing with a nerf gun on which needs at least 10 channels. I want it remote controlled from a computer and want a live camera feed. I thought Rasberry pi with cam shield and 3g modem. But the problem is, I need at least 2 of the outputs to be PWM and I'd like the the cam feed to be at least 24 fps which ben didn't seem to get from his dog treat dispenser pi.

I also want to do something similar, car with live cam, remote controlled. But I was thinking on using STM32F board. For the cam, there is the OV7670 ( http://dx.com/es/p/ov7670-300kp-vga-camera-module-for-arduino-147742 ) which seems to feed 640x480 30fps, which I want to try, if it doesn't fit for your project I think there is MT9M111, which seems to have better characateristics. About PWM, try to use this: http://www.adafruit.com/products/815 , up 16 PWM controlled trought I2C. Hope it helps, Miguel

You could get a usart based PWM module, as for video over zigbeem I don't think so. You'd basically be sending it over serial which I don't think is a feasible option. I recommend you look at FPV systems for RC vehicles. Then just make a custom controller that has both your electronics for control and a cheap FPV system for video.
