My fathers garage

HELLO Ben!

My father owns a huge car and when he is parking in the garage he is unable to see the distance between the bumper of the car and the wall of the garage.So I am planning to make a mechanism that senses the distance between the bumper and the wall and warns the driver if he comes too close to the wall.If you know how to make this project please tell me how to make it.

Hi Andy,

It is not so difficult you can use a ultrasonic sensor or a infra red distance sensor and a Arduino UNO board and some other components , you can find many references on YouTube, I have added one example HERE...
