Fm Arduino Alarm Clock

Hello, i am new to arduinos and i have this project in mind and i am wondering if it can be done. I want to make a Fm Arduino Alarm Clock. I want to to be able to play the radio too as well as being used as an alarm clock/clock but i also want it to give me the temperature. Can this be done?  I know i would have to build an audio amp for the radio. Thanks Joe

    I dont see why it could not be done. A few buttons, an LCD, add in an RTC, and a DT22. You would have to build a radio circuit but an FM radio receiver is relatively simple. Should be doable with an Arduino Pro Mini.

     

    Heck most FM receiver circuits I have seen are tuned with a potentiometer, you could replace that with a MCP41100 digital potentiometer and control the station directly from the Arduino.
