I'm just wondering on the show whether Ben uses a high or low temp hot glue gun? Does it matter when gluing to things like PCB's? Wondering if it can possibly get hot enough to melt solder or plastic if using high temp.

And further if it is hot enough it can melt solder or plastic too. But since the heating element in the gun is manufactured to emit a lower heat it won't be practical to generate more heat without changing the element. Glue guns have a lower wattage than soldering irons usually.
