Augmented reality has potential uses in many different fields and applications, including electronics. However, specialized AR hardware can be very expensive. In this video, Andy explains in detail how to create an AR-based electronics learning program from scratch, and he does it all on the Quest 2 VR headset using the passthrough feature. He also demonstrates hand tracking and interactivity, and discusses some of the trade-offs of using augmented reality on affordable devices.
