Can anyone tell me which led strip to buy and a possible source. The led strip I have does not fit the drilling template.

I cannot see any listing for the led strip in the Bill of Material or Kit

Try a search for WS2812   74 LEDs/m 

You can always adjust the drilling template to match your LED strip / cutting board size.

Many thanks. I will have top purchase more leds so will get the right ones and keep the nice template rather than make my own.

Strips with LED spacing of 74 pixels per meter should get you a pitch of around 13.51mm ( 1000mm / 74 ).

This may vary slightly but you can usually adjust the printing scale when printing PDFs by +/- 1%, which would allow you to fine tune the template to match if needed, without having to make a new template.

On PDFs it is still possible to print using 'system dialog' and from there maybe the printer's own dialog might allow for free scaling.

For some reason there's a discrepancy between Microsoft and the printer I use, so I frequently have to print templates twice, the first time measuring it, and then scaling by a percentage. The Brother printer dialog allows free scaling:
