Dave is a big fan of freeform soldering styles and made a tiny skeleton handheld. As the wise Ben Heckendorn said years before, Dave too tells everyone to collect spare LED legs. "Don't throw them away, as they might come in handy one day!" - or they get stuck in your maglock sockets. Here we need them to connect an Attiny85 with some buttons and an I2C display.

    After burning bootloader everything works beautifully! Finished the project on a plastic card, so its become portable Many thanks Dave! looking forward for more cool projects like this

    awesome project, its so bare bones. its a skeleton boy.
    I'm currently recreating your project. Im curious, the code you linked, is it already configured for the resistor values and the pins of the attiny85?
    as you said in your video you had to edit the code.
    Also, when i try to compile the sketch it says programmer not responding

    i have the arduino set under tools, programmer, "arduino as isp"
    ive selected attiny85 as the board and the processor, i have the clock set at "internal at 16MHz"
    Id appreciate anyone's suggestions

    Arduino: 1.8.9 (Windows Store 1.8.21.0) (Windows 10), Board: "ATtiny25/45/85, ATtiny85, Internal 16 MHz"

    You seem to have an issue with your programming setup - have you tried that before and did it work on other chips? I sometimes put other programs on my Arduino and forget to reprogram the Arduino ISP code afterwards. Just checking if you have programmed your arduino as an ISP programmer. This seems to be the issue, as otherwise it would say that the target (the attiny) didn't response. Maybe try another Arduino, if burning the ISP program doesn't work out for you.
