Teardown and Comparison of the XBox Elite Series 2 vs Google Stadia Controllers -- The Electronics Inside 70

Most game controllers these days are pretty much aesthetic variations on a core design. However, I suspect there may be one controller with more that just cosmetic differences. Join me and see if my hunch was correct!

I would have thought rotary capacitive sensors would be competitive with resistive pots.

Excellent question! I can't say I remember seeing them other than the original steam controller? Maybe they aren't tactile enough for regular game play as I'd have thought they'd be an excellent choice fore something thin like the switch?
