Flapping Batman Dog Costume Part 2

Concept:

I want to make a Halloween batman dog costume that has a flapping cape. I am going to use a continuous micro servo to pull the cape up and down, and use an accelerator to detect whether or not the dog is standing up or laying down, so that when the dog is standing up, the cape will flap, but when the dog is turned to the side, the cape will not move. I also plan on adding RGB LEDS around the batman symbol. I the costume to look like the cape is flapping in the wind when the dog is running or just standing up.

Hi Adam,

I'm not sure if this is just me, but I can't see your video. It states it is still encoding and has been all day long. I've tried logging out, refreshing my browser and even restarting my browser.

Looking forward to seeing it because part 1 looked really interesting and I want to see your progress.

Thanks you for your interest! I was not aware of the problem, I thought it would finish encoding after a minute or so. I am going to try to re upload the video.

All watched now. Firstly I can't believe how well behaved your dog is!

I like the approach you've taken. You've obviously put a lot of effort into this and I am sorry o hear the effect isn't quite as obvious as you had hoped for - it looks good in the video still. Have you seen how people make animatronic tails? - you might be able to do something similar to ripple a longer length of the cape as you intended.
