Ham Radio Portable Operations thanks to E14 shopping carts. Thank you

Thank you E14 staff, sponsors and thanks also to tariq.ahmad , always working, who seems to never sleep.

A shopping cart arrived for winning the RF projects contest.

Project14 | Winners Announcement: RF Projects in the Sub-1GHz Range!

The cart contained a couple antenna tripods, a cordless screwdriver, a camping seat , and a 12V 1.5 W LED cluster, which all will be used to continue the upgrading of my portable ham radio station.

Earlier this year, I was inspired to take my ham radio station portable and off the grid like rsc 's E14 project.

Ham Radio Off-the-Grid "Go Box" and Solar Charging System

With a winning shopping cart from  Thank you for Shopping Cart Treasures E14, sponsors and Tariq ! Off the Grid

The ham station got its flight case, inverter, and solar charge controller.

The ham station also reuses a Road Test SBC  LattePanda Delta 3  and also added some PCI memory

LattePanda3 Delta NVMe SSD installation with Windows 11

The PVC antenna masts, next time out, will all have tripods to make setup easier and faster, and maybe can make them higher.  A G5RV mini hangs from the middle mast.

The portable station is also greener by adding a solar panel and power station. The Power Station is really useful for all kinds of portable energy needs.

The table is a nice height, but camp chairs arent made for people to sit at tables.

The collapsing camp stool oughta fix that issue.

The portable station is not complete, as these projects never are.

It still needs a swing out HDMI monitor and a deep cycle battery for the PWM solar converter. Another solar panel would also be useful.

It also needs a cover to keep it out of the sun and be able to read the PC monitor. Yet to come

Thanks Everyone. !

5000W ERP, 1000W transmitter and a stacked array of elements (4 horizontal and 4 vertical).  Our instructor was well connected and collected old systems that he could rebuild and repurpose.  The station went from 10W, to 1000W and then to 5000W, will trading frequencies, transmitters and whatever else wasn't bolted down.  The electronics and radio work put be on a fast track to EE.  I still keep in touch with him and several classmates.

    That's alot of fm power.

We had a ham station and radio club in high school. The club wasn't big, but everyone went on to be EEs.

Looks like fun. I started out in radio at a 5000W FM radio station at our high school. Tons of fun while learning electronics!
