My first 3D prints.

Greetings,

I have moved one step closer to living in the modern era. After much thinking, researching and a lot of agonizing, I bought a 3D printer. I settled on the Monoprice Maker

Congrats genebren, that is a good investment for DIY; tons of hours waiting for your part to come out of fun are guaranteed! and also some headaches .

Have you decided what 3-D modeling software are you planing to use?. For ready-to-print parts thingiverse is your friend.

Hi Luis,

I have opted for Fusion 360. It is available for free for makers and small business (startup making less than $100,000). It is a very complete and complex environment, but slowly it starts to make sense. I tried tinkercad, but I could not get it do what I wanted (I could not figure out how to edit and move object to absolute locations, it may be able to do it, I just could figure it out).
