Patient Infotainment Systems, are easily built in the Free Willy Project, a project to save one computer at a time from the street and rehabilitate it in a useful use case, to prove, every piece of hardware retains its retro value.
This blog is a simple recycle plan for patient infotainment terminals at VayuVaidya, a premier R&D in mental wellness and civilian aviation and space medicine.

Low cost patient infotainment terminals by Free Willy () of Vayu Vaidya.
We use inexpensive refurbished vga/hdmi monitors with USB ports, with a simple pi zero USB stick one can assemble with a pcb available from Amazon. The total cost is less than $20.
There are many refurbishers, we source from several in St Paul MN, such as Free Geeks or PC for People.
Additional hardware such as echo buttons, trigger switches and external hardware using BLE can be integrated to the Pi stick.
We use any operating system you choose compiled to Pi Zero, with Alexa-Pi. More about the hardware and software details to follow.
