Introduction.
I got an old Chajka II camera. Chajka II was produced in 1967-1972 by the Vavilov Minsk Mechanical Plant. The apparatus was popular. It produced about 1.25 million units. This camera is semi-format. A semi-format camera is a camera that is designed for a standard 35 mm film, but displays on it half-size frames not 24x36, but 24x18 mm. I would venture to suggest that this was done to save photographic film. Half-size frames do not 36, but 72 frames on standard photographic film.

The lens on the camera is interchangeable Industar-69 2.8 / 28 with an aperture limit of f16.

Adapter.
I decided to try this lens on my Canon 1000d camera. The Industar-69 lens has an M39 thread. Therefore, I had to print the adapter on a 3d printer. I didn’t have black plastic available, so I had to tint it up from a spray can with paint so that there was no distorted color in the pictures.

Result.
Here is the snapshot I got. The first shot was taken with an Industar-69 and the second was shot with a Canon EFS 18-55mm kit lens.

Addition.
If we add to this lens two adapters for 20mm and 60mm. Then we can get an even greater approximation.
