If you've followed along with Project14 monthly project competitions you've seen a lot of very creative projects and a lot of projects that involved music. What was really exciting about the Electronic Art competition its the first competition that we had that dealt specifically with art. Who said electronics couldn't be pretty? One of our members, jw0752 submitted a couple of great artistic projects that was well received by our community member judges! His first project was the undisputed grand prize winner. His other project ended in a two way tie with one of the other projects for first place (we'll have to think of some cool swag to send with him at some point...) His projects are both beautiful so we featured them front and center along with his Grand Prize winning Thinker Revisited. Rounding out our other winners is an artsy update to the Animatronic Tiki Twins we first met during the Animatronics competition, a Blooming Pi project, and a really cool looking Name Badge that caught some attention from one of our team members.
One of the great things about our community is the generosity of our members. After this competition, jw0752 donated half his shopping cart to ilvyanyatka for Electronic Art app controlled by Arduino Uno ! We've retroactively added her as one of the first place winners and look forward to more projects from ilvyanyatka !
As you would expect, the runners up (those who received at least one first place votes) are also beautiful and worthy of display. Get ready to see something electronic and hopefully something that will uplift you with its beauty!
