  • There have been some problems with MATRIX installation. It appears that some file missing (possibly, systemd-sysv ) in the Sketch Mirror site, even I have changed /etc/apt/source.list sereral time.

    So the matrixio-creater-init can not be installed with package.

    It would be better if build from source would be released later, for more other OS like Ubuntu or Centos on RP3.

    Hello,

     

    You are having trouble with the Picroft installation? Have you tried --fix-missing like it suggests in the terminal? Sometimes that helps.

    I have tried almost all the solution.

    --fix-missing is to save time for Dependancy Resolve.

    It really takes me time to find out that,

    a) The HAL lib for matrix Creator is good, but the problem is in Raspbian Strech. There have been many new features other than that of Jessie. Especially after including SNAP installation. The www.ustc.edu.cn  is one of mirror sites for raspbian, it synchronizes everyday with MAIN retro.

    After rull out the possiblility of ANTI-VIRUS or other Proxy SCREEN MECHNISM, it can be concluded that in this case, some files missing in the RASPBIAN site. So, there is little you can do other than waiting for new UPGRADE from RASPBIAN mirrors.

    b) Here is the assumption,

    Since apt-get intall maxtrio-creator-init fails without apt-get install upgrade first, you can test by not strictly defining version of DEPENDACY PACKAGES.  It may works. And test the HAL package in other Debian-like OS, it may works. I will test later in ubuntu-Mate and Debian-ARM.
