Participants will receive a demo board to use during their interactive learning experience. Please note that each workshop has specific requirements outlined below. Capacity for these sessions is limited; please register early to secure your spot.
Requirement for all hands-on workshops: Participants must bring their own laptop (charging outlets are available), with an enabled desktop web browser (see descriptions below for any additional requirements).

Enable AI Object Detection at the Edge with Arduino UNO Q and /IOTCONNECT Participants will build and run an AI-powered object detection application using the Arduino UNO Q, Arduino App Lab, and Avnet’s /IOTCONNECT platform. Following a guided setup process, attendees will configure the hardware, connect it to the cloud and deploy a pre-built AI Object Detection demo. Participants will also integrate the Arduino UNO Q with /IOTCONNECT to enable secure device onboarding and cloud connectivity, while leveraging Arduino App Lab to run AI-enabled applications at the edge.
By walking through a simplified, step-by-step workflow, this session demonstrates how to quickly bring edge AI use cases to life and adapt the solution to support a variety of additional App Lab demos with minimal changes. Enable real-time device health monitoring with /IOTCONNECT and Raspberry Pi Participants will build and demonstrate a device health monitoring application using a Raspberry Pi 5, AWS IoT Greengrass (Nucleus Lite), and Avnet’s /IOTCONNECT platform. Following a guided quick-start workflow, attendees will configure their device, connect it to the cloud, and enable real-time monitoring of device telemetry. Participants will walk through key steps, including device onboarding, deploying edge components and visualizing health data, while also enabling secure cloud-to-device communication. By leveraging /IOTCONNECT to streamline actions typically performed in the AWS Console, this session highlights how a simplified, pre-integrated edge-to-cloud workflow reduces development complexity and accelerates time to value for IoT solutions. STMicroelectronics
Accelerate AIoT Adoption with /IOTCONNECT and ST AIoT Craft
Participants will build an end-to-end AIoT proof of concept using STMicro's SensorTile.box PRO, ST AIoT Craft, and Avnet’s /IOTCONNECT platform, following a streamlined sensor-to-cloud workflow (ST SensorTile.Box Pro hardware will be provided for use during the workshop). Using real sensor data, participants will train and deploy edge AI models, securely connect devices to the cloud, and visualize live telemetry and inference results through pre-built dashboards. The session highlights how a pre-integrated edge-to-cloud solution with built-in device onboarding, model management, OTA updates and fleet monitoring reduces development complexity and accelerates time to market from prototype to scalable deployment.
