Debugging a Mixed Signal Design with an MSO

Embedded designers are faced with the challenges of ever-increasing system complexity that incorporate various analog and digital signals, serial buses and digital buses. During this seminar, we will look at techniques for quickly verifying and debugging mixed signal embedded designs using the powerful features of a Mixed Signal Oscilloscope (MSO).

The presentation starts with an overview of a typical mixed-signal embedded system.  Next we will give an introduction to Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes (MSOs) and quick overviews of I2C and SPI buses.  Then we will show two real-life examples of debugging embedded systems using a MSO.

At the end of this presentation is an overview of Tektronix MSO tools for verifying and debugging embedded systems and information references to help you verify and debug an embedded system.
