The ILPS22QS and ILPS28QSW are members of an ultra-compact piezoresistive absolute pressure sensor family and function as digital output barometers, supporting dual full-scale measurement range up to user-selectable 4 bar level. The devices provide lower power consumption, achieving lower pressure noise than their predecessors. ILPS28QSW is variant in special package for water-proof applications compared to ILPS22QS, which is more suitable for air pressure monitoring applications. Both embed an analog hub with QVAR, electrostatic sensor technology, to acquire and process environmental conditions as example, but not limited to, for liquid presence detection. New Industrial Pressure sensors are mechanically reliable and robust against chemical attacks. In addition to barometric and as altimeter, they can be used in industrial plants with various gases as well as in metering, they allow the control of ventilation systems and also the measurement of the level of liquids such as in tanks or other containers.
