About

Introducing Autodesk EAGLE, Autodesk has launched the latest version of its popular EAGLE software. For over 25 years, EAGLE has been helping thousands of electronic design engineers and developers worldwide innovate. The powerful PCB design software offers the same core functionality as expensive commercial software at the fraction of the cost. Learn why EAGLE is one of the most popular PCB Design solutions:

  • Easy-of-use 3 modules share a common user interface, undo/redo functions for numerous commands
  • Technical support by dedicated experts included with the price of the software
  • Compatibility with Windows®, Linux® and Mac®
  • Over 50,000 component libraries and datasheets
  • Integration with Mechanical solution
  • Fully integrated with element14 design community providing insight into the latest technologies and design elements, tools and prototyping services.

For this webinar we will be covering: For a very long time there has been an increasing demand for the capability of exchanging design file within an Electronic Design Application and a Mechanical Design CAD system. That has now been resolved with the latest release of Autodesk EAGLE. This new system allows users to fully interpolate files between EAGLE and the well known mechanical solution by Autodesk called Fusion360. Please follow Edwin Robledo and Jorge Garcia as they guide you at the best practices to optimize your workflow between EAGLE and Fusion 360.

What Attendees Will Learn:

  • Sketch board outlines in fusion and import into EAGLE
  • Edit board outline, add mechanical data in EAGLE and push to fusion
  • Build a board outline in Fusion360 by projecting a plane in an enclosure
  • Move components in Fusion360 and adjust routes in EAGLE

I'm a product support specialist for EAGLE, here at Autodesk. I have been working with EAGLE for close to 10 years. I got my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University in 2008. I love electronics and building projects focusing on power and control applications. I have a special spot in my heart for embedded systems and programming even though I still consider myself a novice in both. I love spending time with my wife Orlinda, in our little home here in Florida.

Having graduated in Electronic Engineering in the mid 80’s, I enjoyed many years working as an electronics / software design engineer. I recently joined Premier Farnell (Element14) as a Global Software Applications Engineer to champion and support the software we distribute, a really great role that drawn on my extensive industry knowledge and experience.
