Webex has an official ‘supported system requirements’ available here:

- Linux:
  - No webcam transmit support (only view)
  - No video file sharing support
  - For Browser based, only Firefox is supported
- Mac:
  - No USB headset support
  - No Animations/transition support for presentations

It should be possible to also ‘dial in’ using the computer as opposed to a phone line. You will need to download and install a plugin for this:

For the question of "How to copy from emmc to SDCard to another BeagleBone's eMMC Jason offers the following advice using the script available here on the beaglebone and then from github:

I found the initial explanation of boot selection confusing (i.e. boot from onboard vs. SD). Unfortunately I got interrupted by a phone call and by the time I rejoined they were in the middle of an elaborate explanation of the boot loader internals (or some such).

Can you point me to a simple explanation of how the board (w/ the boot button) decides which image to boot? I remember when I took it out of the box that was confusing because I had done an SD update like I would with any Pi and it was booting something else.

I find the Derek Molloy videos and info on the BeagleBone to be the best references when working with the BB.

true, a great source, but getting outdated. That’s happening to many tutorials, including those referenced on the beagleboard website and forum. With the latest Debian that’s now the prefered os, I had to look up the different instructions to set a static IP on the web until I found the one that works for that distro.

Yeah, sounds normal for anything related to Linux.

Derek Molloy's "Exploring Beaglebone Black" is still one of the must have books for working with the Beagle. However, since the OS was changed to deal with I/O some of what is in all 7 books I own suddenly…

To all members and attendees. Just a passing thought here: Linux seems like a big topic. combining Linux and Beaglebone together for a 45-minute webinar seems like a huge topic to cover. Here's my suggestion…
