About This Webinar

Assistive domotics, a form of home automation, focuses on making it possible for the nearly 7M elderly and disabled Americans to live independently. This field uses much of the same technology and equipment as home automation for mobility, security, entertainment, and energy conservation but tailors it towards elderly and disabled users.

Mobility and access are the most important aspects of being able to live independently with minimal aid. This webinar will show how motor control and its surrounding technologies help people with disabilities to safely access and move through their homes. We will discuss the different breakthrough technologies and how implementing motor control can help to maintain independence.

What you will learn:

  • What are the applications for assistive domotics
  • What trends and new technologies are improving the quality of  life for the elderly and disabled.
  • How does motor control address accessibility issues.
