Join Newark element14 and NXP Semiconductor for an exclusive webinar featuring element14’s LPC4357-EVB development board.
The LPC4357-EVB from element14 is a low cost development board featuring a dual core configuration using an ARM Cortex-M4 MCU with an ARM Cortex-M0 as a co-processor. The LPC4357-EVB is built around NXP’s award-winning LPC4300 digital signal controller series which includes the highest performing Cortex-M4 microcontroller in the industry.
This webinar will consist of 3 parts:
First, Gordon Cooper, Product Marketing Manager, NXP Semiconductor, will give an overview of the key LPC4357 features including:
• the Cortex-M0 coprocessor for offloading control and I/O tasks from the Cortex-M4
• the graphic LCD controller and free (to NXP users) emWin graphic software library for creating high quality user interfaces
• dual-USB high-speed host/devices capabilities including free USB software
• NXP’s SPIFI interface – an inexpensive way to extend on-board Flash for code and data storage
• NXP's unique configurable peripherals – such as the State Configurable Timer and Serial GPIO – that can offload processor bandwidth while providing maximum I/O flexibility to the developer.
Next, Nitin Kulkarni, Division Marketing Manager, Spansion, will discuss the benefits of Spansion FL Serial Flash memory and using the NXP SPIFI interface. Featuring a broad density storage and fast quad i/o read performance, Spansion Serial Flash memory is the perfect choice for NXP-based designs and is prominently featured on the LPC4357-EVB platform.
Then, Vandana Lokeshwar, Technology Development Manager, Newark element14, will review the key features of the board supported development tools and application software.
