Besides some basics on RFID (radio frequency identification devices) this webinar also introduces a homemade RFID reader for 125 kHz, which requires no special modules. Also shown are matching homemade RFIDs for use as sensors. Prepare to see a trick with MIFARE cards on the Elektor card reader, and some reverse engineering of a commercial card reader.. and more experiments with RFIDs of the ISO 15639 class.
About the presenter:
Martin Ossmann has been an Elektor reader since 1972. Since 1989 he has published more than 50 articles in Elektor magazine. He studied Electrical Engineering at RWTH Aachen, Germany. Martin has worked as a Development Engineer and a Research Scientist. Since 1999 he is a Professor at the Aachen University of Applied Sciences.
