Vishay Precision Group LogoWe invite you to participate in a unique 60-minute webinar where we will examine two energy topics: Li-Ion battery charging and solar cell current monitoring. Including two video demos, the webinar shows how Bulk Metal® Foil resistors from Vishay Precision Group enable the industry's most precise measurement of current -- an essential need for efficient and safe charging of Lithium Ion batteries as well as accurate current monitoring for solar cells. Electronics design engineers working on these or similar precision current sensing applications will learn key electrical properties of power current sense resistors, including TCR, PCR and thermal EMF, and will come away with an understanding of how these affect current measurement accuracy. We'll compare the three major resistor types: thin film, metal band, and Bulk Metal® Foil. Resistors built on these technologies may look similar and may even have similar specifications, but each is quite different when it comes to their construction and performance. The webinar will be followed by a Q&A session.
