First Project?

Well going to be frank here... I have no experience what so ever with electronics, never built anything other than my computer, no understanding about programming, so basically I know nothing when it comes to anything to do with electronics.

For a while I have wanted too start getting into it though as a hobby more than anything and now I think it's time for me too act on it.

So any and all help would be and will be greatly appreciated.

So what do you think I should start with?

Hi Connor;
If I were starting cold I would look up some of the project books by Forrest Mims III. He covers a lot of the basics with simple circuits that you can build and learn about individual components. I also like the book Practical Electronics for Inventors by Paul Scherz and Simon Monk. It is good to begin to build a foundation with knowlege for the basic components. Another fun approach is to build a kit and then try to understand how it works. Good luck as you start into a fascinating new hobby.

I was in the same situation a couple of years ago. I learned a lot by building projects from this book:
