I know a lot of members on the community are interested in low cost PCB manufacturers:
For sure when you are manufacturing a prototype board, you want to watch your expenses. But a step before considering your costs is knowing and understanding how to prepare your PCB for manufacturing. If you are just starting out on this, there are a few things you should know.
To help you, element14 is offering a FREE webinar by CircuitStudio called: Taking your CircuitStudio Design to Manufacture (Sep 13, 2018)
It will cover:
- Design rule configuration
- Running DRC and inspecting results
- Cross probing
- Checking net lengths (e.g. critical diff pairs)
- Assembly drawings
- 3D View / 3D PCB prints / Interactive 3D PDFs
- Gerber files
- NC Drill files
I've attended as host a number of CircuitStudio webinar presented by James Harriman, along with Peter Barnard of Premier Farnell. James is enjoyable to listen to and really conducts his presentation as a hands-on lab.
If you have the time, I encourage you to attend. If you can't, I'd suggest you signing up anyway so you are alerted when the on-demand recording is available.
Thanks.
