Would You Be Interested in a Webinar on Power Quality?

I've been approached by someone who would like to do a webinar on power quality. It's a topic personally find interesting. But it's the purview of electrical engineers and not necessarily electronic design engineers. Despite that fact, I think it's an area that every engineer should know something about if for no other reason than general knowledge and professional development.

How interested would you be in a webinar on power quality?

What are you curious about with regards to power quality? Not to confuse words, but often times when we discuss power quality, what is really talked about is a lack of power quality--harmonics, poor power factor, voltage instability, imbalances, blackouts, brownouts, sags, spikes, surges--the list goes on.

We are also beginning to offer webinars later. I am considering 11am to 1pm CDT = 5pm - 7PM UK time  anyt thoughts on webinar time are appreciated.

I’m rusty when it comes to Mains applications. So I am happy to brush up and learn in any regard. It would be nice to know ahead of time what “power level” (pun sort or intended) the viewer should be at.

I have a professional interest in knowing more about power quality.  I suspect the seminar pitch may be from a vendor that sells power quality analyzers.

But, as you mentioned, power quality (on the utility side) is an electrical engineering headache.

In the electronics world I just want power delivered to my creations where I immediately crunch it into beautiful, mostly well behaved DC right after it leaves the AC power cord.

As we are working on Micro Smart Grids (IoTfied and Islanded), It is definitely help me grasp something new to look at.

Mains power quality is definitely an important and interesting subject - something which I have had to deal with from time to time.

But power quality, say of DC supplies, switchmode converters are also of great importance - definitely something which should also "fit" under the broader umbrella term of power quality, and probably some mention of grounding, protection.

Sadly, times won't be good for me in AU (as they rarely are), so I might have to watch the recording for this one.
