Pi_camera_training.pptx

With the help of Element 14, I recently led the second of two trainings for educators with Raspberry Pis and the Pi Camera. The training went well, and I am proud to say that we were able to go from setup to the creation of a time lapse movie in under two hours. Thanks to some of our teachers for leading the way and pointing out some ways to make it faster. I hope you all find this helpful!

I hope so. I think the camera is great gateway into some more customizable features that explore other things you can do with the Pi. For example, a web interface that would let you do all of the customizations like -ifx, -ss, and others would be a neat challenge.

I agree Mike, when handled. Properly, the camera has amazing possibilities. Maybe they can address that as well. A coating that would allow the novice to safely handle it without fear of ESD damage.

There are some cheap camera only housings on element14 which help overcome the ESD issue. Sorry can't link to them at the moment.
