We just started to work with the Microbits this Saturday, inviting kids from the community to try out the first workshop we are developing. We explored the basics of electronics using a water experiment:
Later we started diving into electronics and the first Micro:bit Projects: A Name Tag and a moisture sensor for plants. This STEAM workshop also puts a lot fo emphasis on the idea that they create "creatures", that's why we start off by creating masks for each microbit.
This week on Thursday the 8th, we will be starting a workshop with 10 teachers and 10 girls as a preparation for an small Microbit event on the 17th.
