I have been able to complete my program that can identify the robot path using colored paper or stickers. the code is done in normal MATLAB coding similar to my previous posts.
I thought I would rather show my results first, then explain about my methodology in the following posts.
After I completed my code. I was able to translate this into a standalone program running independently on Raspberry PI using Simulink.
The program basically takes images from the Raspberry PI board camera, process them that and controls two motors through the Raspberry PI GPIO pins, making the robot follow the correct path.
the details about my code and how I made it as a standalone program on Raspberry PI will be explained in my following posts, However I will show here what I managed to do.
First I will show a video of the Program Running on Raspberry PI, where you can see the motors are controlled depending on the colored object position, all this is done solely on Raspberry PI (standalone program).
I was not able to upload the Video here so please follow this link:

this is an image of my setup
Also you can see in my second video a live feed while the program is running on Raspberry PI and How is it processing the images it get.
The video is shown in Simulink, however the code is still running as standalone program on Raspberry PI
I was also not able to upload the Video here so please follow this link:

I will explain about my methodology and how to run the program as standalone program on Raspberry PI in my next posts, I will also include all my simulink and MATLAB codes.
