I have looked Farnell I2C LCD MC21605C6W-BNMLWI-V2

It seems suitable, but I have not found any code in c-support.

I would use Microchip PIC18F27K40

I have used the CCS compiler from chttp://www.ccsinfo.com/ for 30 years.

Any c-code is acceptable.

I have looked all Youtube codes and other places, but all the use PCF8574 interface, but not direct I2C

Hi,

A lot of these displays are all the same, you can search for a slightly different model number and see if you can find code for that.

These displays mostly use the traditional HD44780 instruction set, but just carried over I2C.

For instance, I used a display with a ST70xx chip too, but a different part code, my C source code using I2C is on GitHub. It should be compatible with what you are using.

I have used LCD mote 40 years, but this I2C lcd is my first.
