Happy New Year

I've never been one for resolutions, honestly, but for the New Year here's to one that's more hopeful and happier for everyone than the last couple have been.

 

Thanks to the members and top members alike whom make this Community what it is, and I hope you'll stick with us to see through at least another year of Engineering, Electronics and Making!

  • And thanks to the E14 and the Community for helping keep us sane and entertained whilst stuck at home over most of the last year! Personally, 2020 delivered one last kick to the balls as a good friend of mine died on yesterday on New Year's Eve. 2021 has to be better. 2020 has set the bar pretty low!

     

    I hope everyone has a great 2021. May all your projects get finished, and may you think up just enough new ones to keep you busy!

  • I echoed the 'good riddance' in my status update - and then started the new year at 00:11 with a 3D print I forgot to recombine before I sent it to the printer - hence, first thing this morning I noticed it had missed bits off and I'm reprinting it now! image

  • Thank you to element14 staff and the community for helping to turn 2020 into a relatively decent year compared to the dumpster fire it could have been. Happy New Year to all and here's hoping it brings us all happiness, health and prosperity!

    As far as element14 goes, 2020 was depressed but it was still a bright spot relative to other sectors.

    The second wave has not even peaked yet, so 2021 will have similar challenges.

    Hopefully element14 continues to find ways to maintain its bright spot status.

    The road to recovery will be long and hard, but I am hopeful for the coming year.

     

    I’m grateful for all of the positive things in life.  Thanks for the Element14 community and staff.  May this be a better year for all of us.

      Sorry to hear of your loss.  May 2021 be the opposite of 2020 for you.

  • Happy New Year!  I'll echo 's "Thank You" to e14 and the Community for being a personal highlight in an otherwise ...trying... year.  While 2021 will start out like 2020, my hope is that it will transition soon to something much better.
