Ah-h-h! A day to celebrate being mathematical. I jumped on to see what other have posted and... Hello? Hello? Is this thing on? I must be on the wrong frequency.
Actually, this fits with my observation. Last year at this time - when we were heading into lockdowns and social distancing, local businesses made a bit deal about Pi Day. One of the local gas station/convenience stores was selling pies for... you guessed it, $3.14. This year, with the prospects of vaccination and less restrictions, we have heard almost nothing. Could it be just my area? We are having unseasonably warm weather. Is it that we aren't doing in school learning - so the Raspberry Pi isn't getting into the hands of budding young scientists, engineers and makers?
For me, I'm eating pie today as an act of defiance to those who won't celebrate. My fork shall be my instrument of rebellion against apathy and indifference!
