I have seen a few videos on the Pi and some of the amazing things it can do. I decided to see if it was as easy as the videos made it out to be. Ordered my first board today. Talk to you all later for help, tips, and tricks.
Has everyone who wants to learn more seen the educational resources and youth projects put together by fustini? Very well done. Thanks Drew.
Thanks, Raymond. If anyone else has additional links, then please post a reply: Re: Favorite Pi educational resources & youth projects?
I have found many helpful videos on YouTube but the Internet cyber place I return to the most is the Adafruit Learning Center at Adafruit.com or http://learn.adafruit.com/ . The Raspberry Pi section is full of tatorials to get you started with your Pi and projects that step you through so that even a beginner can complete, learn, and gain some pride from the accomplishment. Thanks Lady Ada and staff for all the help with my Pi. By the way, they also have tutorials on Beagle Bone, Arduino, and just interesting projects and hacks. They also have a Pi-Day every Friday new live stream.
Enjoy
