Want to make a mockup using a purchased capacitive sensor. I am wondering which board should I purchase that has the capability of connecting an external capacitive sensor to? Thanks.

Hello, you can use any PSoC that features CapSense. Many devices from PSoC 4 series, 5LP, 6 series. You can find specific part numbers using the product selector, just show CapSense and filter devices…

One more thing: Here is the cheapest board from Cypress, that features a PSoC 4 with CapSense. It costs only $4: http://www.cypress.com/documentation/development-kitsboards/psoc-4-cy8ckit-049-4xxx-prototyping…

You can also use Texas Instruments MSP line, which have CapSense capability.

There are other Capsense capable development boards, but the two I name have very good hardware and software support documents.
