Bench lighting

I have a really good bench light - it's an articulated, LED jobbie with a wide rectangular lamp that I can position pretty much anywhere I need it to be when I'm doing stuff on the bench.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B079M5J7C4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The only problem is that its a noisy so-and-so and I can pick up its radiation in scope readings.  I can give this to my wife, as she's looking for lighting for her craft room, if I can find a good alternative - any ideas?  I really like the fact this one attaches to the side of the bench and has the reach and articulation to position wherever needed, but I think what's important is a high kelvin/daylight with a wide spread of light.  And controlled emissions of course.

Hi Andrew, Your noise is likely coming from the dimmer provision. Why not remove the dimmer function and just go to full brightness. this should cut the noise. John

I don't really want to make something. It's very hard, nigh on impossible, to buy a non-LED light these days (cue landfill in 5 - 10 years.) I guess a second hand Anglepoise-style lamp would work as they…

Are you up for making something? To address the controlled emissions I'd drop back to old fashioned filament bulbs - which are sometimes hard to come by in some countries now but not impossible. I'd suggest a simple angle poise lamp from Ikea et al with a suitable bulb from a Halogen range eg Sylvania Energy Saving Halogen GLS Lamp 70W BC (B22d) 1190lm (toolstation.com)

You could also use a GU10 holder and again some Halogen units?

Either way you get a nice 'instant' light, good colour temperature and no flicker or electromagnetic interference.
