I was wondering what language is more useful for programming a robot / drone. Also what is a good and fairly cheep program for designing parts.
I was wondering what language is more useful for programming a robot / drone. Also what is a good and fairly cheep program for designing parts.
For designing parts I would suggest one of:-
Sketchup
Design Spark Mechanical (I Know its RS Sponsored sorry)
AutoDesk123D
Fusion360 (Small fee but free to educational facilities and Students
Assuming a microcontroller, C and not C++(more overhead). On the other hand, a microprocessor like Raspberry pi, definitely Python.

I am researching Mathworks Student Edition of MatLab/Simulink ($99) and it's tie-in w/
S/W Python, C++ and H/W RaspPi, Arduino.
I always thought that C# was pronounced "C Sharp". Am I wrong?
My Bad. You are Correct. C -"sharp" as in the Musical Note.
I guess I had C ++ Plus Plus on my mind.
But don't ask me to explain why in Twitter, '#" = "hashtag".
for a person of my age (65). "#" = "Pound Sign".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hashtag added June 2014 means much younger than all of us here.
