rac1305

Hello

Im trying to make two small PCBs that has just the one on each, an 8 pin chip.

Ive search around on Google and answers range from searching for Soic , S008 , soic8pin and so on. But im yet to find anything in Eagle itself.

Can any one help me please.

( Ive only used Eagle in very basic ways )

Many Thanks

Rich

Eagle has many parts in its libraries that have 8 pins DIP, SIOC, S008 etc. The footprints are found in the "Package" tab of each library.

For example if you open the "Linear" library, many of the parts in that library will have 8 pins.

It is pretty easy to add these footprints to your layout and use them however you wish.
