Wireless Power System Patent#11,420,524

Was doing some late night browsing threw the U.S Patent Office Database and came across this, Im extremely curious as to yalls thoughts on it..

  • If I am reading it right, (which is a big if) it looks like a pretty inefficient way to regulate wireless power transfer.

  • I found it hard to follow from that snippet, like most patents, it is written with the intent to broadly protect things, not to technically describe for the reader to benefit! So it would be good for a simple-language summary paragraph briefly describing what it does if you know what it's about (it will save users having to download the entire patent and deciphering that), since that would be easier for readers to understand and comment on.

    i agree with you whole heartedly but I'm afraid a tldr from me on this would lack any semblance of coherence..

    Very interesting, I wonder if the fields could be used for communications as well as power, the same way RFID works.

    I think you're going to have a poor bitrate, or noise to signal ratio, for the amount of power provided.
    I'd suspect you may not have multiple signals at once either, maybe a point to point link if anything.
