I have blog related questions.
I signed up to do a road test, and drafted a blog about the functionality of Digilent WaveForms Linux software suit, but failed to consider pdf/ latex not being accepted file types.
HTML tags seem to be acceptable, but where do I link images to?
(is there an internal file server I should use? or should I link to imgur? or some other place?)
or is there a way to upload a pdf?

When you use the blog or RoadTest editor to enter in your content, there will be an editor toolbar, it will allow you (amongst other things) to upload images.
There are some screenshots of the editor tools (and some other ideas that may help), here:

If you have the content in a Word document, you can copy-paste the majority of it directly into the editor, and it will auto-convert it to HTML. You don't need to write any HTML tags (unless you want to). In normal use, the editor tools allow you to select headings, styles and so on using a menu, and no need to type tags.
Example of how to insert video. To insert images (.jpg, .png, etc), you'd do exactly the same thing, but then click the blue Upload text visible in this screenshot:, and then browse to your image on your PC.
