Industry 5 isn't even really about industry. It is about people and the planet.

Industries might not voluntarily sacrifice profits for other objectives. It might have to be legislated.

Well in the US that might be considered a "taking". If they want to introduce additional objectives, they should do it the old-fashioned way and buy the company.

Industry 5 seems to be a European initiative. I am not into the politics of regulations, but politics is probably a big factor in Industry 5.
