Reminder: Keep your Profile Up To Date

Hey everyone,

The Community Dev team recently pushed out an update to the site:  Upcoming Site Maintenance 4th April :: Release 2024-3

Which has included the following:

  • There's now a T-shirt size option on the user profile page that you can fill in; our team can use that for any giveaways :)

Make sure that your profile contains an up-to-date address, phone number and now it can include your t-shirt size!

We use couriers such as UPS, FedEx and TNT to send parcels to you, and for this to work for RoadTests and Giveaways we need your name, address and phone number so the courier can deliver it to you and contact you.

The t-shirt field? That's so we don't have to chase you for your preferred t-shirt size, it's then super easy for us to collect the information together from your user profile and get the parts and swag out to you when we have it.

Also, a reminder that we do not sell your information, and we do not pass your information on to third parties without asking for your permission to do so and telling you why.

Thanks!

Go to your profile, and under actions in the left column, Edit Profile and you'll see it there.

It only shows up when you go to edit your profile. Sadly for me, no “tall” options. I might have to get my bellybutton pierced

Thanks from me too, I now have a profile... But one thing is wrong and I can't correct it. Where it asks for Language, the box is already filled-in with 'U.S. English'. I am English to the core,* through and through,* always have been, and am unlikely to change it. So why can't I change 'U.S. English' to just 'English'?

    * - I have some Neanderthal genes and characteristics, they are very useful.

    Bye for now, folks!

I only see US English and Chinese… guess I’ll have to live without all the extra “u”’s in the language. And put up with toque and poutine being autocorrected all the time ;)

There are subtle spelling differences between US English and 'Common Wealth' English.  For instance color and colour.

Ah... poutine.  I live in Wisconsin and have NO IDEA how this is not a staple of our diet here.  If I was going to open a restraunt, it would specialize in poutine.
