Should Analog be added to the Technologies

I am in the process of writing a blog on a vacuum tube project.  I noticed that it doesn't fit into any of the existing Technologies groups.  I originally brought this up in the feed-back forum.  Doug replied by suggesting that Analog should be added to the technology groups.  This could cover designs and blogs that take a more traditional approach... and don't otherwise fit into the other existing groups.

Once upon a time, the front page of the website had a "new" button, that allowed you to create a blog post, or a forum post.

Then at the end of it, it would say "where would you like to post this?".

Now, it's the other way around. You fumble around a bit, trying to find where to post it, decide "well, this will do" and post it, hoping it will be seen.

    Do we need another group?

Or do we need a bit of organisation within a group?

I'm now in a position where I can make that decision and guide the team. I've been slow to work on this directly because, moving and removing items can harm the visibility of the content (more than it is at the moment) with search engines, and also if the content has been advertised on social media.

But I thought I'd comment, to show that I'm paying attention. Happy to move things around or make things a bit clearer.

Thanks Chris.  I understand your hesitation to reorganize things. I came in asking for an analog group... but no longer want that level of specificity.  From the responses by others I see the dangers of having a group called  Miscellaneous.  I am thinking now if we had a group called: The Love of Electronics.... the purpose of the group would be to feature experiments and projects big and small that explore the world of electronics. (or something to that effect) So, in theory it could serve as an umbrella of sorts without attracting as much clutter as a group called Miscellaneous.
