    Pegboard for bigger tools and hi use component packages with hanging holes, for example silicone sealant in tube, silicone grease, lock tite, ...All cables are put in labeled bags and hung on pegboard, usb standard, usb to micro, usb to usb c , etc.

    Small desktop pegboard for small tools:, little screwdriver sets, clippers and cutters, crimpers, strippers, small pliers and needle nose, magnetic grapper, flashlight and magnifier,...

    Drawers for projects and bigger parts. A drawer for small dc fans, drawer for motors - stepper and dc, cpu drawer, wire wrap tooling and wire, soldering tools drawer, 

    Multi compartment boxes for smaller components,  grouped by function, i.e.one box for pcb terminal boards, connectors,  one box for sensors, one box for leds, one box for transistors and mosfets, one box for resistors, one box for capacitors, one box inductor and ferrites, a box for servos and RC parts, a box for batteries and battery boxes, etc

    robogary Pegboard is my current conundrum.  Do I love it or is it holding me back?  I use it but I definitely have things on my pegboard that are "low use" - but they don't fit well anywhere else either (large roll of foam tape, framing square, etc.).  I probably just need to relocate some pegboard to a "less prime real estate" location.
    YES.  I see the pattern developing here.  I may have even found a direction to go with my workbench reorganization. Relaxed

    Good you have an idea.  My workbench is really multiple workbenches and a tool crib for electronic work, bike & auto maintenance, wood shop, and significant home maintenance tools.
