I have a question, maths is due to physics or physics is due to maths??

  • I think physics is an application area of math in the same manner that statistics is.  I also suspect that math didn't have its roots with physics at all but instead initially evolved out of the needs to manage commerce, resource planning and construction projects... so civics instead of physics.
