  • Holy cow, this particular show actually forced me to stop browsing!
    As someone who frequently goes through the Element14 forums, reads countless threads, and works on various projects, I very seldom leave comments. But this time, I just couldn’t help myself.
    It seems that Laura’s approach has affected me quite profoundly. Being an ECE student currently in my second year, I once tended to plan my academic work as well as extracurricular activities meticulously. However, all those meticulous plans were inevitably upset by unexpected events, leaving me highly anxious. Laura’s suggestion of approaching uncertainty with curiosity and conducting some small-scale experiments was a breath of fresh air.
    Last week, I did one simple experiment, putting aside my phone for an hour immediately after waking up. All I did was playing around with a sensor circuit without any intention of completing it. To be frank, it was quite enjoyable, and even my roommate noticed that I was happier than usual throughout the day.

    Definitely giving it a try this coming weekend – the Plus-Minus-Next weekly review from her. The concept feels very straightforward and down-to-earth.
    Living in this world where technology changes at such a rapid pace, I think her message about it being alright to not have all the answers, and to continue exploring is extremely valuable.
    Thank you so much for your valuable insights, Laura, and thank you Element14 for the podcast. This one inspired me in such an effective way!
